Just want to share some thoughts as a new convert. I want to learn more about Islam, but seems that internet is a better friend than people!
Maybe I am too shy to approach others for help, but also it doesn't help that so many different views exist amongst Muslims and I feel confused as to what I should follow.
I also feel the need to make friends that will become a support system, guiding me through my spiritual journey, as I want to keep away from the temptations of "previous" life. I wonder if this is reasonable or am I asking for too much.
These are just a few challenges that I am facing (as a new convert).
